MEDIchair Team
On September 13, 2005, LifeMark Health acquired MEDIchair.
LifeMark Health, a private, Canadian owned company is the country's
largest full service provider of both integrated rehabilitation
services and patient care products. LifeMark Health along with its
Columbia Health Centre and MEDIchair brands has more than 110 clinics
and franchise stores from coast-to-coast in Canada.
LifeMark has assembled a national team of seasoned and dedicated
professionals. Combined, they use their broad-based business experiences
to provide the company with the necessary vision, leadership, strategy
and business savvy to succeed in both the integrated rehabilitation
services and patient care product sectors.

Directors and Officers

Mr. Craig Gattinger, Chief Executive Officer, LifeMark
Health
Craig Gattinger is responsible for developing and
overseeing LifeMark Health's strategic and business plans. Craig
has been in the industry for over 20 years, and has an extensive
network of industry contacts. Craig has proven himself as a successful
clinic operator, and together with Ron Lowe, has been able to grow
LifeMark Health into Canada's largest full service provider of both
integrated rehabilitation services and patient care products.
Craig graduated from the University of Saskatchewan with a Bachelor
of Science in Physical Education and a Bachelor of Physical Therapy.
His Physical Therapy career began with National and Olympic Hockey
Teams from 1978-1985 including his position as Team Physical Therapist
for the Calgary Flames (NHL) from 1985-1992.

Mr. Ron Lowe, President, LifeMark Health
Ron Lowe has been involved in the rehabilitation and
physiotherapy fields since opening his first clinic in 1983. In
addition to developing and overseeing the Calgary group of clinics,
he and partner Craig Gattinger, helped develop physiotherapy at
the University of Calgary Sport Medicine Centre and Ron served as
the Director of Physiotherapy there from 1989-93. Ron has worked
at numerous national and international sporting events including
the Olympic and Commonwealth games and as a therapist for the National
Rugby team and with the Calgary Stampeder football team. Ron is
a graduate of the University of Saskatchewan with a Bachelor's Degree
in Physical Therapy.

Management
|

Mr. Bas van Lankvelt, Chief Operating Officer, MEDIchair
Bas joined MEDIchair Home Office in 2003. He holds
an Honours Bachelor of Kinesiology from Lakehead University, Thunder
Bay, and a Diploma in Athletic Therapy from Mount Royal College,
Calgary. He received his designation as an Assistive Technology
Practitioner from the Rehabilitation Engineering and Assistive Technology
Society of North America (RESNA). He has also successfully completed
an Executive management program at the Haskayne School of Business,
University of Calgary. Bas has held a number of positions within
MEDIchair. Based in Calgary, he oversees MEDIchair’s operations
together with the company’s Directors, Regional Support and Director,
Franchise Development.

Mr. Mike Pinnegar, Director, Regional Support - West, MEDIchair
Mike joined MEDIchair Home Office in 2006. He holds a Bachelor of Arts
in Business Administration from Brock University, St. Catharines. Before joining MEDIchair,
Mike held Management positions within Best Buy Canada over the past 10 years. Mike brings a
wealth of Retail/Management experience adding value to our franchisees. He is based at a
MEDIchair office in Langley. Both Mike and the Director, Regional Support - East share
responsibilities for the day-to-day operation of MEDIchair stores and provide franchisees
with ongoing support in the areas of marketing, operations, and administration.

Ms. Susan Tarrant, Director, Regional Support - East, MEDIchair
Susan joined MEDIchair Home Office in 2003. She is a 20-year veteran
of the Canadian Home Medical Equipment industry. Before joining MEDIchair, Susan was
Operational Co-ordinator for the Ontario Central Equipment Pool operated by Shoppers
Home Health Care. Over the past two decades, Susan has completed a large number of
industry led product, service and business courses. Through her years of experience,
Susan has developed an intimate understanding of the workings of the Ontario Provincial
Funding Program. She is based at MEDIchair’s Regional Office in Etobicoke. Both she and
the Director, Regional Support - West share responsibilities for the day-to-day operation
of MEDIchair stores and provide franchisees with ongoing support in the areas of marketing,
operations, and administration.

Mr. Frank Lucas, Director, Franchise Development, MEDIchair
Frank joined MEDIchair Home Office in 2002. He holds a B.A.Sc.
Mechanical Engineering degree from the University of Waterloo, and an MBA from
Schulich School of Business, York University, Toronto, as well as completing a
Certificate Program in Information Systems Management at Ryerson University.
Frank supports MEDIchair franchisees at all stages of their growth assisting
them with the development and implementation of business plans and identifying
opportunities to improve efficiencies. He also oversees the operation of MEDIchair’s
Franchise School. Frank is based at MEDIchair’s Regional Office in Etobicoke.
