Designed to transport an individual in a mobility device,
such as a wheelchair or scooter, up and down a staircase.
The platform is large enough to accommodate most users,
yet will fold up out of the way when not in use
Many models will allow a regular fold-down seat to be installed
on the platform as well, allowing safe usage by those needing
some degree of staircase assistance

Similar to those seen in commercial settings, but adapted
for residential use
Fully and semi-enclosed models are available, depending on
application, and styles and features are available to suit any
home dιcor.
Can be configured to allow access to any number of levels
in the home
Requires some degree of home modification but can often
be better integrated into the home
