2009 MEDIchair Launches MEDIchair Ontario, Canada’s first provincial HME franchise company. This marks the first time that MEDIchair has been able to service governments, hospitals and long-term health care facilities through one company.
2008 MEDIchair and Community Home Assistance To Seniors (CHATS) combine expertise to open first
MEDIchair-CHATS store in Newmarket ON
2005 MEDIchair celebrates 20 years of providing
home medical equipment and service to Canadians.
2004 MEDIchair opens regional office and training
centre in Etobicoke ON.
2003 MEDIchair publishes 'lifematters',
a consumer product catalogue outlining Home Medical Equipment in
a lifestyle format.
2002 MEDIchair introduces the "Professional's
HME Handbook", the first guide designed specifically to assist the
medical community in selecting the appropriate home medical equipment
products for their patients.
2001 50 franchise locations across Canada
2000 Company moves its Home Office to Calgary,
Alberta.
1999 MEDIchair becomes the first HME Franchise
to introduce Intranet communications technology for the exclusive
use of its national Franchisee network.
1999 MEDIchair organizes the first national
HME Franchisee Buying Show.
1996 25 franchise locations across Canada
1995 www.medichair.com is launched. MEDIchair
is the first HME franchise to create a website.
1989 10 franchise locations across Canada
1988 First franchise store opens
1985 MEDIchair begins operations in Brandon,
