Staff
Every MEDIchair Franchise store is staffed by a mix
of highly trained staff that can provide the best possible solution
to any number of challenges. Key individuals include:
Franchise Owner
MEDIchair
stores are individually owned and operated by an active franchise
owner. The franchise owner is responsible for the overall day to
day operation of their MEDIchair Franchise store. But more than
that, their financial investment in the business means they’re also
responsible for client satisfaction – putting your needs first.
Thanks to customer satisfaction training, all MEDIchair Franchisees
recognize that their next sale is only as good as their last, and
that providing the best possible equipment goes hand in hand with
the best possible service. Rehab Product Sales Consultant
These individuals strive to become “home medical
equipment specialists” by completing a number of manufacturer’s
courses and becoming familiar with various disease categories, how
these diseases manifest, what product offers the best solution and
what funding may be available. Rehab Product Sales Consultants are
also required to know how best to set up and adjust products to
meet individual needs. These individuals work hand in hand with
occupational and physiotherapists to create a seamless rehabilitation
chain. As a Rehab Product Sales Consultant’s career progresses they
can apply to write their RESNA (Rehabilitation Engineering Society
of North America) credentialing exam. MEDIchair and its Franchisees
provide support and encourage Product Consultants to earn this credential.
In-Store Product Sales Consultant All MEDIchair stores
employ in-store sales consultants to assist clients, caregivers
and Health Care Professionals in finding the right product for their
needs. In-store consultants assist in most rehab areas, but their
expertise centres more in the areas of soft goods, bathroom safety,
retail mobility, lift chairs and beds. HME / DME Service Technician
All MEDIchair stores are required to employ HME/DME service
technicians. These technicians are responsible for the initial set-up
and testing of all equipment sold by your MEDIchair store. Additionally,
Service Technicians are responsible for repairing all warranty and
service-related products sold by your MEDIchair store. Our Service
Technicians must possess a strong aptitude in mechanical and electrical
areas and are required to take continuous courses offered by the
manufactures of Durable Medical equipment and Home Medical equipment.
Many Rehab Product Sales Consultants start their career as a DME
Service Technician.
